Our Mission

The Psychedelics Communications Hub is a centralized communications hub that leverages the momentum of interest in psychedelics to support the communication needs of the ecosystem as well as to educate and improve the quality of information about psychedelics.

We are curious skeptics and research driven advocates working to increase access to psychedelics in a safe, equitable and sustainable way so that all humans

What We Do

Double exposure people network structureþþ HR - Human resources management and recruitment concept.

The Hub is a centralized communications hub that leverages the momentum of interest in psychedelics to educate and improve the quality of information about psychedelics available to the media and public. We are research-driven advocates working to increase access to psychedelics in a safe, equitable, and sustainable way so that all humans can benefit from their healing potential.

The Hub provides four separate, but related, communications functions:

  • Providing resources to the psychedelics field: We are developing and sharing communications resources, such as messaging, guidance on how to answer tough questions related to psychedelics, and message/media trainings. We also invite partners to share what they are seeing and learning and provide regular venues for this kind of collaboration.
  • Coordinate rapid response: We are proactively developing a protocol to better respond to and leverage key moments, including potentially incomplete coverage that could benefit from context and information. We are in the process of building a diverse bench of expert spokespeople as part of this effort.
  • Seed affirmative, proactive messaging about psychedelics: Our overarching goal is to seed thoughtful, nuanced information about psychedelics to a wider audience—journalists, advocates, and skeptics and those curious about psychedelics—to foster understanding and support for safe, equitable, and sustainable access.
  • Messaging and media trainings: We have regular message trainings for partners. These primarily focus on helping attendees become more comfortable answering tough questions and become better prepared to speak publicly about the benefits and risks of psychedelics.
